Nestor and I went to the same high school for several years and had the same group of friends so it wasn’t a surprise to anyone

when we started dating. We had been seeing each other for almost 6 years, when we decided to go for a short holiday to Hamilton

Island.

The night we got to Hamilton Island, Nestor suggested that we have a quiet dinner on the balcony and order room service.

As we were having dinner, Nestor surprised me with an engagement ring, and asked me “Will you marry me bub?” I thought I would

never hear him say those words! I was so excited I realised I didn’t say yes! So asked him to propose again so I could say “YES!!”.

We thought it would be perfect to have a small wedding where Nestor proposed, on Hamilton Island. The planning of the wedding

was stress free and we were lucky everything just fell in place. We felt incredibly thankful and appreciative that our closest

friends and family members made it all the way from Melbourne to Hamilton Island. It was such a surreal moment when we arrived

on the island to see everyone there. It really felt like “This is it!”

The ceremony was on the beach, which was perfect for the beautiful sunny weather we had. We wanted our reception to be different

and unique, so we held our reception on a motor yacht, with dinner served downstairs and the dance floor upstairs where we danced

the night away!

Our wedding day was so perfect; we would not change a thing! If only we can do it again! We will always cherish this day forever
thanks to TWK Studio and especially to Jenny who captured every single moment!
Thank you so much!

The wedding day was a beautiful and exciting day, shared with our loved ones.
It rained just before the ceremony, as it did on both sets of parents wedding days, and is said to be good luck.

Our most memorable moment on the day would be getting our photographs takenon the hills overlooking the Glass House Mountains.
It wasjust a nice secluded moment we had alone together to take in the day and what it meant, and just spend a quiet moment
together as husband and wife. Blog_12
